Sunrise on the Lake
Sunrise On The Lake
I sit with my mug of coffee
Watching the sun rise over the bay
Wisps of fog hover just above the water
Until rays of light peak through
And the mist clears
A breath of air roughs up the surface
And sunlight glitters like sprinkles on a little girl's birthday cake
Every now and then a fish jumps
And an eagle dives
The sun climbs quickly
On it's arc across the sky
And before I know it
The show is over
